Jaycee Perkins, IBCLC

Hello! I am a Humboldt County-based International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) providing in-home care to new and expecting families. 

I completed my undergraduate education at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo where I studied Kinesiology and Public Health. During this time, I performed research focused on associations between variations in breast anatomy and early infant feeding challenges. I was introduced to the lactation consultant profession, which perfectly blends my interest in human physiology with my deep-rooted love of supporting new parents and their babies. I went on to complete my lactation-specific education and training at the University of California, San Diego. Following the program, I worked as a Postpartum Doula and interned with an established private practice providing in-home lactation support to families in the greater San Diego area. 

I am so happy to be back in Humboldt giving love back to this community and helping local mamas and papas feed their babies. I am committed to supporting families in reaching their infant feeding goals through all stages of infant feeding.
